Assistive Technology Services
Services are available to children of all ages. Services may
include but are not limited to assessment and training in
use of commercial or customized equipment used to improve
functional capabilities of children with disabilities. Such
equipment may include:
- Switch Access
- Electronic Aids to Daily Living
- Computer Access
- Alternative Access for communication devices and
power wheelchairs
Collaboration with family, child and community therapist
(home and school) is always a priority.
Assistive Technology may compliment existing OT and PT
services or may be provided as the sole means of therapy.
An emphasis of services is on providing the best possible
device to maximize independence and function.
