The Division is staffed by 22 oral and maxillofacial
surgeons. A full range of oral and maxillofacial surgical
services is provided. Examples include the treatment of
odontogenic infections and neoplasms, cleft lip and palate
disorders (in conjunction with the Cleft Palate/Craniofacial
team), traumatic injuries, developmental skeletal anomalies,
temporomandibular disorders, oral mucosal diseases, salivary
gland diseases, and the management of patients with
associated medical conditions. The Division also provides
full ambulatory anesthesia services for the Department of
Dentistry.
