ABOUT CCCFC The CCCFC is located in Hartford, Connecticut at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Hartford Hospital. We provide care and treatment to approximately 160 people with CF – about 110 children and 50 adults. We welcome new people with CF or old-timers to our center and strive to provide exceptional care. Our commitment to our CF community is to never stop working to improve the quality of their lives until a cure for CF has been found. The CCCFC pediatric and adult teams have participated in the Learning and Leadership Collaborative sponsored by the CFF and Dartmouth College. We have been nationally recognized for our quality improvement projects and our care providers are active at the national level, providing consultation, teaching and coaching to other CF centers around the country. Many of our providers participate at the national and international level by making presentations at the annual North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference and abroad. We also participate in clinical research aimed at finding improved treatment for CF. We are accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). The care that we provide is based on the CF Clinical Practice Guidelines that have been published by the CFF.
